So what does that really mean to me though? To be proficient at something, you are repeatedly completing and practicing specific tasks that follow the pathway of achieving a mastery or higher level experience in a subject like your individual health, a sport, an instrument and so on. Knowledge is the true key to becoming proficient regarding your own fitness. No I'm not saying you need to become a nutritionist or go back to school and take classes on anatomy,biology,chemistry and exercise science. Even having decent general knowledge on these topics can help illuminate the pathway of being well versed and successful in becoming healthy and fit.  The fastest way to impose positive change is to start with a goal, look at the path it takes to achieve, set milestones and checkpoint goals, research the habits that  promote succeeding these checkpoints, and succeed in time.
